About

I live in Denver, Colorado with my partner and our son, Benji. As an associate professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, I teach courses on AI, the legal profession, and property. I also volunteer as an appointed member of the Colorado Senate AI Impact Task Force and as an instructor with the Oak Academy for AI in the Legal Profession.

I completed my JD at Berkeley Law and PhD in Berkeley’s Jurisprudence and Social Policy program, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession. I am a senior research affiliate with the Institute for Law & AI. I am an active member of the socio-legal research community, including serving on the board of New Legal Realism and co-directing the Legal Education Collaborative Research Network with the Law & Society Association.
